The Klaipėda Ethnoculture Centre invites you to a colorful, spring-inspired Children’s Easter Celebration on April 12, filled with traditional activities. The event will take place in the courtyard of the Klaipėda Ethnoculture Centre (Daržų St. 10).
A variety of fun activities awaits the whole family! From 12:00, educational workshops will begin, accompanied by performances from children’s folklore ensembles. At 14:00, enjoy lively folk’n’roll entertainment with Julius Vaicenavičius and his band.
Julius Vaicenavičius is one of Lithuania’s most joyful folk’n’roll performers, known not only for his ability to engage the audience (and play numerous instruments), but also for creating a deep emotional connection through heartfelt love ballads and the stories behind them. While many know him as the leader of the band “Kūjeliai”, this time he will present an engaging and lively solo program that will bring everyone together for a true celebration!
Bird lovers are also welcome – you will have the opportunity to build your own birdhouse and create a straw bird. You can also try weaving nests from twigs, making owls and bunnies from yarn, and enjoy many other creative activities.
Children’s Easter would not be complete without eggs – you will have the chance to decorate them using traditional wax techniques, while younger participants can color wooden eggs. Don’t forget to bring your own decorated eggs and join the egg-rolling competition!
See you at the Children’s Easter Celebration in Klaipėda!
