Midsummer Festival in Klaipėda

On June 23, we invite you to celebrate Joninės (Midsummer Festival) in Klaipėda at Jono kalnelis.

Experience the magic of herbs and fire rituals, wreath-making workshops, greetings for all Jonai, Janinos and Rasos, traditional games, songs and dances by the bonfire, and many other Midsummer traditions. Visitors will also enjoy the festive fair with crafts and delicious treats.

During the celebration, Joninės rituals will be created by the Klaipėda Ethnoculture Centre folklore ensembles: KURŠIŲ AINIAI, KURŠIUKAI, ALKIUKAI, SENOLIAI.
