Folk Song Club evenings | Tradicinių dainų klubas

On the occasion of the Year of Lithuanian Folk Songs, every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Klaipėda Ethnoculture Centre (Daržų St. 10), traditional Lithuanian folk songs are performed. The Centre invites you to warm, vibrant, and song-filled Folk Song Club evenings.

Everyone interested in learning traditional Lithuanian folk songs is welcome – age or previous singing experience is not important. At the Song Club, we learn to sing songs from all Lithuanian ethnographic regions together. The themes and genres of the songs are chosen according to the calendar year. We sing songs of traditional holidays and work, gradually covering the full cycle of the year.
